Hockey Players Club: Data Policy

Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Last Updated and Effective Date: August 25, 2026

1. Overview

This Data Policy describes the information processed to operate the Hockey Players Club community (the "Service"). It works alongside our Privacy Policy and is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service. HPC owns the data generated by our community; Honeycommb LLC, our technology provider, collects, stores, and backs up that data in order to run the Service on our behalf.

2. What Data Is Processed

To operate the Service, the following categories of data are processed:

3. How Data Is Used

Data is used to provide, personalize, secure, and improve the Service — for example, to build and display profiles, enable discovery of players, power community features, communicate with members, and maintain safety and integrity. Aggregated or de-identified data may be used to understand and improve how the Service performs. Any advertising we run is directed to the community as a whole and is not individually or age-targeted.

4. How Data Is Shared

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only to operate the Service:

5. Data Ownership, Retention & Export

As between HPC and Honeycommb, HPC owns the community's content and data. We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law. Consistent with our agreement with our technology provider, HPC may request an export of its content and data, which the provider retains for a defined period before deletion. Retention and export are subject to HPC's account remaining in good standing under that agreement.

6. Security

We and our technology provider use reasonable measures to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you download or export data from the community (for example, as an administrator), you are responsible for safeguarding it.

7. Minors

Players under 13 are represented only through parent- or guardian-managed accounts, and data about those players is provided and controlled by the responsible adult. Accounts representing players under 13 are excluded from our third-party email and marketing integrations. See our Child Safety Policy for details on how we handle information relating to minors and how a parent or guardian can review or request removal of it.

8. Contact & Changes

For questions about this Data Policy or to make a request, contact us at [support@hockeyplayersclub.com]. We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the "Last Updated" date above reflects the current version.
