Don’t Stand Still..
Most Players Practice Shooting Wrong 🤯
Everyone practices shooting standing still which is great. But in games, almost nothing happens standing still.
Goals happen off momentum, deception, cutbacks, rim pickups, stick lifts, weight transfers, bad passes, and releases while your feet are moving.
There’s no guessing with this stuff either. These are the spots, situations, and touches where these plays actually happen in real pro games.
There’s 100s of different ways to shoot a puck and one hour is nowhere near enough time to practice all of them.
If you want to learn how to shoot while also learning where, why, and when to use certain releases in games — that’s what we work on.
Sam Alfano
Put up 84 points in the OHL (41 goals), Sam “The Moose” Alfano made the jump to NCAA hockey at Arizona State.
Sammy led ASU freshmen in scoring with 18 points
Now he’s transferring to the University of Maine next season, where 6’4” Moose sightings are expected to increase dramatically around opposing creases.
