Hockey Players Club — Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Hockey Players Club ("HPC," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the HPC community, including our website and mobile applications (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated on technology provided by Honeycommb LLC. HPC — not Honeycommb — owns and is responsible for this community, its content, and its policies.

2. Who May Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create and hold an account in your own name. A player under 13 may be represented on HPC only through an account created, owned, and managed by their parent or legal guardian, as described in our Child Safety Policy. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements, and, if you are a parent or guardian managing an account for a young player, that you consent to these Terms on that player's behalf.

The Service is operated from the United States and intended for use within the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk to the community.

4. Community Rules & Acceptable Use

HPC is a community for hockey players, parents, coaches, scouts, and organizations. You agree not to use the Service to post or do anything that:

• is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or invasive of privacy;
• is sexually explicit, or that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits any minor;
• infringes anyone's intellectual property or other rights, or that you do not have the right to post;
• impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation;
• is spam or unsolicited commercial content, or that harvests other members' information;
• contains malware or attempts to disrupt, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

Members can report content or behavior using the reporting tools in the community. Reported content is reviewed by our team and removed if it violates these Terms or our policies. We may report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.

5. Content Ownership & Licenses

5.1 Your content

Content you post — including profiles, photos, videos, highlights, and messages ("Your Content") — remains yours (or your licensors'). By posting Your Content, you grant HPC a license to host, display, distribute, and email it to members in connection with operating the Service, and to allow our technology provider to do so on our behalf. This license exists so we can run the community; it does not transfer ownership away from you.

You represent that you have the rights to post Your Content and that it does not violate the law or anyone's rights. Because HPC profiles are public and may be indexed by search engines, treat what you post as public.

5.2 HPC content

The HPC name, logos, and the design and materials we provide are owned by HPC or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the Service. You may not copy or use our brand or materials outside the Service without permission.

6. Content Removal & Copyright

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion, including on report or for violations. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice to our designated agent under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Our designated DMCA agent is Honeycommb LLC (copyright@honeycommb.com). We follow a notice-and-takedown process and may remove content and, in appropriate cases, terminate repeat infringers.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we are not responsible for content posted by members. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HPC's liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold HPC harmless from claims and costs arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not otherwise resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania, unless the parties agree otherwise.

10. Changes, Termination & Contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. Our Privacy Policy, Data Policy, and Child Safety Policy are part of and incorporated into these Terms.
