Tough to fully diagnose from a short clip, but your crossovers look solid. One thing I stress with most players is loading the outside edge. The power isn’t the leg coming over—it’s the under-push. If you can load that outside edge, push under your body, and finish with full extension, you’ll generate way more speed and control.
My training company (Quest Hockey) biz partner and I recorded these videos awhile back that should prove helpful:

@Tiru Exactly. The under-push creates the power, the over-leg repositions, then that foot becomes the next inside-edge push. Power just comes in sequence.
If you had any tryout tips for highschool level I would really appreciate that. I think I have a hard time getting into a good position with the puck and taking shots
@Tiru IMO the #1 tip for tryouts is to battle and compete every rep—every drill, every shift, whether you have the puck or not.
Without being familiar with your game or seeing tape, it’s tough to give personalized feedback. That said, one underrated thing I always encourage is don’t be afraid to ask a coach a good question during tryouts—especially if you’re unsure about positioning or expectations. Any good coach will respect that you’re trying to learn and improve, and it shows maturity and awareness.
Control what you can: compete, be coachable, and make simple plays at speed.
