@BrandonRubeo we are heading to Xining city on Tibetan plateau. There is no regular season but many tournaments on holidays.

@fishmeal sounds like an awesome place to visit! I hope to be able to travel to China again soon and this time explore different regions. Last time I was only in Shenzhen, Huizhou, and Hong Kong. Despite no regular season, do the kids have a team they consistently play and practice with? Or do they mostly do lessons plus tournament games?

@BrandonRubeo Welcome to China, please feel free to contact me if you could spare a day or two for a visit to Changsha city, which is only two and half hours from Shenzhen by high speed train. There are well organized leagues in some part of the nation, for example, Beijing and Hongkong, which may last a few months but no systematically organized nationwide tiers of leagues or tournaments like those in North America and Europe. Most kids play for a consistent team, but unfortunately my kids lost their original team because teammates either moved to other teams or dropped this sport, so they always joined other teams in different cities for matches and tournaments.
