Aone-touch pass starts before the puck arrives. By shifting your weight toward the passer and receiving the puck in an optimal body position, you can immediately redirect it through the obstacle simulating a defender’s triangle.
It’s not just about soft hands, it’s about body positioning, timing, and preparing the next play before the puck touches your stick.
Step 1. Line up your stick with the inside
Leg (closest to passer)
Step 2. Shit your weight from the inside leg while getting a touch through the obstacle
Step 3 Control - Pass back and repeat
