Vlad Kirchgessner Founder – Hockey Intensity Skills Born on October 29, 1986, in Kazakhstan, with German roots, ice hockey has been a central part of my life since childhood. My playing career developed through the youth system of the Heilbronner Falken, where I competed up to the U17 level. During those formative years, I learned the importance of discipline, structure, and performance standards at a young age. Coaching Career I began my coaching career in 2017 with EHC Ingolstadt, where I gained valuable experience in structured player development within a professional organization. Since 2018, I have been working closely with Maxim Ivanov, a collaboration that continues to this day and has significantly influenced my technical and methodological approach to skill development. In 2019, I moved to Freising, followed by a position in 2020 with the Erdinger Gladiators as U15 head coach. Later in 2020, I joined Red Bull Munich, where I served as Head Coach in the youth department with a primary focus on game understanding and individual skill development. I remained there until 2023, working intensively on the technical and tactical progression of elite young players. After that, I joined the ZSC Lions in Zurich—a highly professional and impactful experience that further refined my perspective on modern player development, even though the tenure was shorter than expected. Since 2024 – Hockey Intensity Skills Since 2024, I have been working independently as a Skills Coach for: • Professional players • Elite youth prospects • Ambitious recreational athletes With Hockey Intensity Skills, my philosophy is clear: Structure. Intensity. Repetition. Development. My training is detail-oriented, direct, and system-based. Player development is never random—it is the result of disciplined work, clear structure, and honest analysis. Whether working with professionals or young athletes, my standard remains the same: If a player is willing to invest fully, I will match that commitment 100%.
